Brian A Mullen

My condolences to Chris, Sarah, Matt and the Pike family. As a member of “Cousins Frankrone”, there are way too many, childhood through adulthood, fond memories of events to list. My lasting memory of Susan will be the warm, engaging, beautiful smile. It seemed to be carried by a person who had figured out, that life will not necessarily make you happy, but you can make your life happy. Susan and I would always catch up with each other at the usual family events. She would remember the details of our pervious conversation as if it were just days ago, when actually it had been many months ago. Aside from the family events, our paths would occasionally cross at a fair or festival or during Matt and John Paul’s years at St. X. No matter the occasion, the routine pretty much remained the same: The greeting, followed by a hug, followed by a positive and energetic update, all accompanied by that wonderful smile. As the details of some of the events begin to fade away, my memory of that beautiful smile and the person who carried it, will continue to last. Rest Peacefully, Susan. Your Cousin, Brian A Mullen.
