Susan Gail Pike, 64, of Louisville, KY passed away peacefully after a sudden illness on Friday, August 18, 2017 with her husband and children by her side.
Susan was born in Louisville, KY on March 27, 1953 to Joseph P. and Mary Rita Pike, who preceded her in death along with her sister, Judith Ann Pike. Susan graduated from Jeffersontown High School and attended the University of Kentucky. On July 28, 1984 Susan married the love of her life and best friend Christopher Alan Seabold.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Christopher Alan; and her children, Sarah Ashley Seabold Kirkland (Benjamin) of Houston, TX and Matthew Ryan Seabold of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by brothers, Joseph P. Pike, Jr. (Gloria) of Edgewood, KY and Alan Pike (Mary Ellen) of Louisville, KY; sisters, Julia Pike, Caroline Pike, both of Louisville, and Donna Dockery (John) of Southaven, MS; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Susan loved to travel, read, and spend time with family and friends. She touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, and sense of humor.
Visitation to celebrate Susan’s life will be held on Friday, August 25 from 2 – 8 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at Highlands Funeral Home.
