I was 5 years of age, approx 1958, plus or minus a year, my father had attempted to teach me to ride my two wheel bicycle.  It was time to shed the training wheels.  My father worked, instructed me and I could not find the courage to allow him to let go and allow me to ride the bike.  Ed Wilding noticed we were struggling and he helped me to ride my two wheel bicycle on the first try.  I will never forget that day, in my formative years, when a young man took the time to help a little girl accomplish her freedom on her bicycle. Ed Wilding was always kind and more than willing to go the extra mile.  I will never forget him.
