Obituary for Charles Wesley Duckworth
DUCKWORTH,
Charles Wesley, 86, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017.
Born in Lonaconing, Maryland he was a Korean War Army Veteran, very active volunteer for Second Chance at Life and Second Chance Team Kentucky. He enjoyed square dancing, bowling, and all types of music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Gilbert Duckworth; his first wife, Doris Duckworth; and daughter, Ann Cleary.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dot; son, Chuck (Lynn); step-daughters, Julie, Cathy, Debbie (Phil), Cheri (Mark), and Angela (Jeff); step-son, Bill (Betty); 16 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 27 at Church of the Ascension, 4600 Lynbrook Dr. with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
