Lebangood, Kathy Ann Frankrone
age 62, of Louisville, passed away October 21, 2017. Kathy was a member of Hunsinger Lane Baptist Church. Her faith was strong and gave her the strength and courage to face life’s challenges.
She was a graduate of Spalding University with a B.S. in Nursing. Her nursing career and her devotion to her son and family were her passions in life. One of her joys in life was playing games with the family at the Christmas gathering.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Leonard Frankrone; husband, Michael Lebangood, and a nephew, Gary Joseph (Joe) Hoefler.
She is survived by her son, Kristopher Lebangood; sister, Betsy Frankrone Hoefler; brother, Robert (Bob) Frankrone (Laura); two nieces, Robyn Hoefler Yates (Danny) of Carmel, IN. and Erin Frankrone Merrick (Dave) of Nashville, TN.; aunt and Godmother, Mary Ruth Mullally; and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville KY, 40205. Private entombment will follow.
Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM on Friday and 9 – 10 AM on Saturday at Highlands.
