LUKE,
Roberta Belcher, 95, born to Marshall Monroe Belcher and Grace Howard on January 3, 1922 in Lynch, KY, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017.
She graduated from Benham High School in 1940, she was a member of the National Honor Society and graduated from Miller Business School in Cincinnati in 1941. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a member of the Cumberland KY Chapter of Eastern Star and was a KY Colonel.
She married Thomas H. Luke, JR. in 1941. They were married 47 years until his death in January 1989.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas H. Luke, III.
She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Entrekin (Johnny), of Gainesville, GA and Debbie Crume (Glenn), of Louisville; grandchildren, Jody Nalley (Karen), Dr. Bill Hornback, IV, Jill Kent (Shannon), and Scott Cundiff (Sandy); eight great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Horne (Fred); two nieces; and one nephew.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Highlands.
