Greer,
Bessie (Beth) Marie Bean, 77, died on May 31, 2017 after a brief illness with her beloved husband, Bob and family at her side.

Beth was born in Arkansas but moved to Longview, Washington as a child. She married Robert T. (Bob) Greer and raised four children in California, eventually moving to Louisville, Kentucky in 1974. In later years, Beth and Bob divided their time between Florida and Kentucky where they were part of all of their grandchildren’s lives. Bob and Beth were inseparable and a true testament to love and devotion in their marriage and life together.

Beth was a dedicated Christian who volunteered her time and talents in many ways. Her particular love of Bible Study resulted in decades of commitment as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship which she helped establish in Louisville. Beth loved to read and instilled in her children the same. She found time for numerous hobbies, which she also taught to her children. Beth delighted in the accomplishments of her children and was a special “Gammy” to her grandchildren who know how much she loved and cared for each of them.
Beth is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Bob; her last remaining sibling, Helyn Helton of Bolivar, Missouri; her children, Melanie Nogalski (Jim), and granddaughters, Megan and Toni, Terry Greer (Connie), and grandsons, Christopher and David, Kim Hackl (Norbert), and Val Dobson (Jim), grandsons, Andrew and Will and three great-grandchildren.

Her visitation will be from 3:00 -7:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.

Internment will occur in Longview, Washington at a later date.
