96, of Louisville passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care .

Born in Drakesboro, KY., Alton was a Navy veteran, and a retired salesman with V.V. Cooke. He was also a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church for over 70 years where he was a deacon.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Robinson; son, David G. Robinson and his brother, Howard R. Robinson.
Alton is survived by nephews; Jerry Robinson (Cheryl) and Richard Robinson. The family would like to thank the following for their loving care; Kathy Hasham, Ann Walker, Cindy Erickson, Marty Kraft and the nurses at Norton .
His visitation will from 2-4, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in the chapel at Walnut Street Baptist Church, 220 W. St. Catherine St. with a service on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Entombment in Resthaven Cemetery.
