KESTLER,
Ruth Elizabeth, 100, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Signature Healthcare.
She was the former Ruth Elizabeth Rosenberger, a retired secretary for Jefferson County Farm Bureau after 35 years of service. She was a member of 1st Lutheran Church, a charter member of Melbourne Heights Homemakers, a member of Widow and Widowers, and also a member of Young Hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, J. Lloyd “Buddy” Rosenberger; and sisters, Adele Neeriemer, Elise Elser, and Marquerite Kirk.
She is survived by her son, Dennis G. Kestler (Barbara), of Valrico, FL.; daughter, Sharon A. Kestler (Wayne Helton), of Louisville; sisters, Martha Kippes and Alice Matvicuk; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at Highlands.
