MCELROY,
James “Jim” D., 78, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017.
Born in Indianapolis, IN, he retired from John Deere, was in the Army Reserves, and was an avid U of L sports fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marguerite McElroy; and son, Scott McElroy.
He is survived by his loving wife, the former Jan Ochsner McElroy; daughter, Wendy Miles (Jim); grandchildren, Olla and Nadia Miles, and Chelsea Riley (Dustin); sisters, Jeri Hutchenson (Bill), Joan McElroy, and Judy Dick (Jim); and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 24 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
