Dearest Barb and family, Renee and I are so sad for your loss. You and Gaila came into our lives almost 25 years ago and have guided us through the twists and turns of life in ways you'll just never know until we all get to heaven. Gaila always had my back, especially when I didn't have the sense to know that's what she was doing! She was fierce, compassionate, and a rock of integrity. Our lives are so much richer because of her and you - and I will miss her wise-cracking ways, her dedicated friendship, her leadership, wisdom, and ability to cut through the mess of life to always get to the heart of the matter.
