Blaine, Derleth, 76, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
Born in Butler Co., KY, he was a U.S. Army veteran, and an Accountant. He loved animals, woodworking, and gardening.
Derleth was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Hettie (Wood) Blaine; and brothers, N.B., Lyle, and Byron Blaine.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet (Handshoe) Blaine; daughter, Marci Reed (Dave); sister, Marvene Cohron; grandpup, Xander; and several nieces and nephews.
Derleth’s memorial visitation will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 12:00-1:00 pm with service immediately following at 1:00 pm, all at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.
