Lochner,
Joe Ann, 87, of Louisville, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016.
She taught for 31 years at Isaac Shelby Elementary. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Ursuline College and received her Master’s Degree at UofL, even though she was a huge UK fan. Her witty sense of humor entertained all of us. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
Joe Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Clara (Warken) Lochner, her sister Thelma and brother-in-law Bill Marra and her best friend, Kathleen Effinger.
She is survived by her nieces, Susan Schildknecht (Frank), Pat Warrem, Teri U’Sellis and Vicki Brown (B); 13 great-nieces and nephews and 18 great-great nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 508 Breckenridge Ln., with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
