GRAVITT, Laura E., 89, formerly of Winchester, KY and longtime resident of Louisville, went to be with the Lord on, June 13, 2016 in the Hospice Care Unit at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
Laura was a member of Southeast Christian Church and volunteered in many areas until the start of illnesses.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Eulalia Smalle and Ruby Stewart; and brother, Edward Gravitt.
Laura is survived by sister, Caryl Morey of Louisville; nieces Connie Gravitt and Rhonda Sarver and sister-in-law, Jean Gravitt, all of Cincinnati; Ann Gravitt of Louisville; and Wayne and Kay Gravitt of Wheelright, KY.
Visitation will be from 10am-1pm on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Steve Underwood, pastor from SECC will officiate the service beginning at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Winchester, KY.
