ERNST, Sean Michael, 27, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016.

Sean served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Patrick Ernst, Sr.

Sean is survived by his father, Patrick Ernst, Jr.; mother, Christine Gendron (Greg); maternal grandparents, Linda Smith and Steve Smith (Cindi Funk); paternal grandmother, Linda Ernst; brother, Adam Ernst (Jessica); half-brother, Lance Humphrey; step-siblings, Savannah and Garreth; uncle, Mike Smith; aunt, Karen Boggs (Keith); and girlfriend, Esther Reynolds.

His memorial visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. Saturday, May 28 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. His memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, May 30 at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th Street.
