CARTER, Dolores "Lorie", 67, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home.
Born in Louisville, she was a practicing family therapist. She held a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisville and was an avid fan of the Louisville Cardinals.
Lorie was preceded in death by her parents, Dolores and James W. Carter, Sr.
She is survived by her siblings, Dottie Luber (Tom), Janice Scherm (Michael), Jane Foushee (Ray) and Bill Carter (Jane); nieces, Katie and Allison Luber, Maggie Kaufman (Chris), Sarah O’Bryan (Chris), Doran Scherm, and Abby and Emily Carter; and great-niece and nephew, Annie and Daniel O’Bryan.
Lorie’s funeral service will be at 10 am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will be from 2-7 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
