Obituary for Charlotte Ann Mullen

Charlotte Ann  Mullen
MULLEN, Charlotte Ann, 85, of Louisville, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Thursday, February 11, 2016.

She retired from Kentucky Farm Bureau after 30 years, where she had been a word processing supervisor. Charlotte was a member of Beargrass Christian Church and the Meadow Heights Women’s Club. Together with her husband, Joe, she enjoyed traveling and dancing, but her greatest love was family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Mullen, Jr.; step-son, Joey Mullen; and sister, Doris Elaine Savage.

She is survived by her sons, Allen Hipps (Kim) and Kerry Hipps (Robin); step-daughter, Debbie Strand (Rich); brother, Malcolm Bentley (Joanne); grandchildren, Tiffany Kamer (Dave), Ashley Hipps, and Brandon Hipps; and great grandchildren, Juliette Kamer, Emma Heck, and Lucy Heck.

Her service will be 11am Tuesday at Highland Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
