Obituary for Chris Bosley

Chris Bosley
Bosley, Christopher Alain,

born June 29, 1980 died peacefully in his sleep while recovering from major surgery.

Chris cherished his family near and far, was a dedicated son, grandson, brother, partner and friend to so many, and was beloved for his humor, his thoughtful sensitivity, intuition and empathy, his intelligence and super quick wit, his creativity, his child-like playfulness and wonder, and his seemingly endless drive and energy.

Beyond his cherished time with family, mountain biking, fast cars, snowboarding, gardening and cooking were some of his passions, preceded only by his love for animals…especially his cats…and his most-beloved UK Wildcats. But above all, Chris absolutely treasured spending peaceful time outdoors…particularly his time spent on the Bosley farm and in and around his second hometown in Bueren, Germany. Wir lieben dich sehr Christopher, und behalten dich in unseren Herzen.

We will miss you - your bright blue eyes, your sunny smile, your full heart, and your lovingly strong Opa-like hugs. We love you so very much….and we will never let you go.

A graduate of St. Xavier High School 1998 and of Bellarmine University 2003, we invite all family, and friends to celebrate Christopher's life with us during visitation on Friday 11/13/15 from 4-6 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow from 6-7 p.m. also at Highlands Funeral Home (3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville KY 40205).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Hope Services (www.newhopeservices.org) or are also gladly accepted for the establishment of a special Christopher A. Bosley study abroad scholarship fund to Germany through Bellarmine University (please contact Bridget Klein for more information bklein@bellarmine.edu).
