DAGES, Jr., Russell C., 84, of Louisville, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at his home.

Born in Louisville, he was a graduate of St. Xavier High School and the University of Notre Dame. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired owner of Dages Paint Company, and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Russell was preceded in death by wife, Mary Pat Dages; and a sister, Marie Kearns.

He is survived by his son, Dr. John Russell Dages (Tere); daughters, Mary Dages Gould (Thad) and Anne Dages Nutt (David); sister, Joan Shonnard; and 5 grandchildren, Taylor and Elizabeth Gould, and Jacob, Elizabeth, and Lilly Nutt.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at St. Agnes, 1920 Newburg Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Russ was an extremely devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a passion for traveling the world with his sister and was an avid Notre Dame fan.
