Obituary for Nadine Paynter

PAYNTER, Nadine Finke, 99, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2015.
She was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on April 29, 1916. She attended DePauw University in Green Castle, Indiana and Bowling Green Business School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Buechel Women’s Club and the Forever Young Exercise Group. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield in 1981.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Howard Jackson Paynter and her sister Margaret Finke Cather.
She is survived by her two sons, John David Paynter (Norma) and Steven Jackson Paynter (Malinda); four grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Scott and Victoria; and seven great-grandchildren, Alexia, Charles, Davis, Douglas, Elizabeth, Jackson, and Luke.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Wednesday at Highlands.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
