YELTON, Philip Acton, 83, of Louisville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Oaklawn Health and Rehab. Born in Burlington, Kentucky, he was a retired Civil Engineer and an alumni of the University of Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Barnett; sons, Mike Yelton and Stuart Yelton (Pam); daughters, Debbie Kuehne and Peggy Key (Larry); brother, Paul Yelton, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
His funeral service will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, January 10 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3 – 8 on Thursday and from 11 am to time of funeral on Friday at Highlands.
