VOGEL, Susan Elizabeth, 59, of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her home.
Susan was a general assistant at Custom Manufacturing for 20 years, a graduate of the former Henry Clay School where she was a member of the Bell Choir, a member of Kaleidoscope Day Activities Center, and loved to square dance and bowl. She was a former member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church, and a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church. Susan also held several gold medals for swimming in the Special Olympics.
She is survived by her parents, Elmer & Ruth Vogel; brother, Peter Andrew Vogel (Lisa); and sister, Kathy Brooks (Michael) of Fort Worth, TX.
Susan’s funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 23 at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 on Wednesday, at Highlands.
