Obituary for Sara Ruth Russell (Caple)

Sara Ruth Caple, 89, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, April 5, 2018.
Sara was a bank teller at National City for 41 years, was a member of American Legion Highland Post 201, Churchill Downs V.F.W., and St. Raphael Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharist minister.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Ruby Swinney Caple and brother, Victor Caple, Jr.
Sara is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Joseph T. “Tommy” Russell; son, Steven Russell; grandchildren, Brandi Himmelreich (Max), Kathyrn Russell, and great grandchild, Simone Schouwenaar.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorville Rd. Funeral service is private.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer Association.
