Condolence From: Joe & Elaine Geoghegan
Condolence: My friend Alice and I first met John and Lee sitting in the backyard of the clubhouse at Churchill Downs on Kentucky Oaks day. Over the years they became close friends and after we got box seats for Oaks and Derby, they sat with us in the box for many years. We became close friends with their whole family, and we much looked forward to our annual Derby reunions. After Alice passed away, my wife started attending the Derby with me, and she too became great friends with the family. Elaine and I both thought John was one of the nicest people we ever met. He's the only person I know who, if you gave him a year, would tell you the Derby winner from that year. We will miss him greatly and send our condolences to his entire family. I am sure that John will be meeting up with Alice in heaven to recount the many fun times we had at Churchill Downs. RIP.

Condolence: Please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories of John.
