Obituary for Terrence Gerard O'Dea
Terrence Gerard O'Dea,
61, returned to his Creator on
March 14, 2018. Born 1957 in Louisville to Mary
Kate Bartlett and Bill O’Dea, Terry was a gentle
soul, beloved by all who were fortunate enough
to know him. And all who loved him were the
richer for it. A treasure of knowledge in all things
family, friends, sports; himself a Gold Medal
Special Olympian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, with
whom he has reunited. Terry will be missed
by his loving Irish Clan: Billy O’Dea (Phyllis),
David O’Dea, Dianne White (Mike), Ken O’Dea
(Laura), Karen O’Dea, Kathy Heineman (Mike
Sr., deceased), Tim O’Dea (Gwen), Michael
O’Dea (Marsha), and many loving nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
Sláinte
His Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM on
Wednesday, March 21st at St. Agnes Catholic
Church, 1920 Newburg Road, interment will
follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 PM on Tuesday,
March 20 at Highland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made
to The Cerebral Palsy School of Louisville Foundation,
1520 Baxter Avenue Louisville 40205.
