Vogel, William Henry,
Age 79, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 22, 1938 to the late Henry and Thelma Koch Vogel, he was a devoted fan of the Phillies. He received his bachelors from Kentucky Wesleyan University, and Masters in Divinity from Duke University. William often volunteered for Hospice.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife of 30 years, Martha Louise Vogel.

He is survived by his second wife of 22 years, Barbara Hill Vogel; son, David Vogel (J. Patrick Riley); daughter, Lori Vogel; step-daughter, Christy Decker (Tony); brother, Robert Vogel (Nala Marie); grandson, James Vogel; and four other grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, January 10 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40205.

Visitation will be from 4 - 6 PM on Wednesday at Highlands.
