Condolence: A few years ago, in a conversation with Don, I told him how much I appreciated his leadership and commitment to our church youth group when I was growing up; and I shared with him how much I had looked up to him and wanted his approval as a teenager. He said he never knew I felt that way. Isn’t that the way it often is, that role models like Don Farmer wouldn’t really know how far reaching and long lasting their impact is on others. I am saddened to hear of Don’s passing and pray God’s reassurance and comfort for all who loved him during this difficult time. How honored they must all be as they reflect on Don’s generous and faithful life and consider just how meaningful his influence has been on so many. Thank you Farmer family for sharing him with all of us who still feel his touch. Deepest sympathies.
