HESS,
Doris, 95, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
She retired from Sealtest as a bookkeeper and also worked for the Veteran’s Administration. She was a member of Buechel United Methodist Church, the Hikes/Bluegrass Homemakers Club and the Buechel Women’s Club.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Hess; parents; and brother, Donald Martin.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Hess (Pamela), of Arlington, VA; grandson, Andrew James Hess (Mollie); and great-grandchildren, Ian and Annabelle.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Friday at Highlands.
