PREHER,
Edward, 74, of Louisville, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017. He was a retired insurance agent and member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Preher.
Whatever physical difficulties he faced, Ed left a footprint of his journey including patience, perseverance, humor and strength. He loved golf, friends of Bill W. and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, the former Jan Kurzendoerfer; children, Scott Preher (Amy), Todd Preher (Jennifer), and Melissa Croghan (Aaron); eight adored grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Nathan, Aiden, Emma, Colin, Jackson and Ellie: mother, Nona Preher, sister, Sharon Fitch (Paul); and brother, William Preher (Sharon).
His funeral Mass will be at 2:00 Friday, December 22, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3705 Stone Lakes Dr. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
