Obituary for David Joseph Landenwich

David J. Landenwich—

Brother, uncle, friend. Musician, photographer, glass blower, reader, cook, troublemaker, scuba diver, bartender, practical jokester, “Mom’s favorite,” Trinity grad, UofL alum, autodidact, researcher, traveler, progressive, storyteller, Boomer and Zoomer, cat lover, saver of strays, lover of life. He made us laugh.

Dave was loved by his siblings Sue (Annie), Tony (Jackie), Doug, Ralph (Mary Frances), Scott (Teresa), and Joe (Kelly); his nieces and nephews Joe, Michael, Ginny,
Amy, Laura, Sarah, Jenna, Greta, Alex, Tom, Bill, Nick, Nate, Emma, and Lilly;
several great nieces and great nephews; and countless friends. He is reunited in his new life with his parents and his sister Peggy.

Visitation at Highland Funeral Home on Taylorsville Road Monday, November 6, from 1-4. Service immediately following. All who loved Dave are then invited to gather at The Back Door, where Dave worked for over 30 years: 1250 Bardstown Road.
