Ochsner, Henry L.
Age 90, of Louisville, passed away comfortably at home on Monday, October 30, 2017. He was just a couple weeks shy of turning 91. Henry “Hank” was a veteran of the Korean War, then retired from Otis Elevator after 42 years. During retirement he enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time with family and friends, especially the early years of his grandchildren. Helping his wife Florence babysit granddaughter, Jenna, brought him great joy. He was always generous with his time and resources, using his mechanical and electrical expertise to help others.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Florence (Franklin) Ochsner; grandson, Jason Bloyd; brothers, Richard, Robert, and Ray; and sister, Doris.
He is survived by his children, Henry “Hank” Ochsner, Jr., Donna Bryant (Joe), Larry Bloyd; one brother, Jim Ochsner; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 PM on Thursday, November 2 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40205. Private Burial will follow on Friday at Resthaven Cemetery.
