Linker, Wilma Lee
Age 89, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. She was born July 14, 1928 to the late Printice Kelley and Margaret Roberts. She was a graduate of Midway University. Having a strong work ethic, she worked as a secretary for John W. Coomes in his law practice. Later she worked for Shelby County Rural Electric. In addition to, she worked alongside her late husband, Albert Linker Sr. at their business, Linker’s Professional Insulators. She and Al were members of Wildwood Country Club for many years where they enjoyed golf, ballroom dancing, and many friendships.
She is survived by her son, A. Tom Linker Jr. (Lien); three sisters, Myrtle Ann Sparrow, Alma R. James, Mary Lou Spears; grandchildren, Dung Huynh (Thuy Dang), Sean A. Linker, Gabriel B. Linker (Mai K. Linker); several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40205.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 19, at 11:00 AM at Highlands Funeral Home.
