Robert A. Hofmann, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on his 79th birthday, October 11, 2017. He was born October 11, 1938 to the late Mamie Sue (McDevitt) Hofmann and Harry Hofmann, and was brother to Sissy (Edward) Moriarty, the late Mickey (Roger) Keyes, the late Sonny (Pattie Gibbs) Hofmann, Patsy (Bob) Markert and George (Andy) Hofmann. He was married to the late Loretta (Hoagland) Hofmann and is survived by their five children, Kathleen (Shawn) Lockhart, John (Tricia) Hofmann, Martin (Amanda) Hofmann, Daniel (Lura McCrary) Hofmann and Adam (Terijo) Hofmann, and their thirteen grandchildren, Cameron, Olivia and Simon Lockhart, and Owen, Isabel, Aidan, Loreena, Casey, Madison, Etta, Egan, Marcus and Emilia Hofmann.
Bob was always known to love playing his guitar, singing, making everyone around him laugh, telling corny jokes, and was tremendously proud of his thirteen grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 pm. Sunday at Highlands.
