age 52, of Louis- ville, entered into rest
on September 14th,
2017 after a long ill- ness. He was born on
January 28th, 1965
to the late Joseph
Phelps Sr. and Fran- ces Gail Bishop. Joe
touched the lives of
many throughout his
26 years as an educa- tor, having worked
for Fairdale High School, Barren County Pub- lic Schools, and Bavel High School. He was a
lover of the arts, and most specifically music.
Joe is survived by his wife, Sandra (Shipp)
Phelps; two sons, Earl Phelps and Tre CatoPhelps;
three sisters, Jorena Faulkner (Ian),
Maleyna Eden (Ron), and Trista Phelps; several
nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and
cousins also survive.
A celebration of life will be held on Satur- day, September, 30th at 3:00 PM with visitation
beginning at noon at Highlands Funeral Home,
3331 Taylorsville Rd. Louisville, KY 40205.
