Naomi L. “Omi”, 94, of Louisville passed away Monday July 10, 2017.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the devoted wife of 73 years to the late Thomas Thompson. She was the “good woman” behind her successful husband, who owned Tommy Thompson Produce on the old Haymarket. Together they worked side by side.

Naomi was a beloved mother who cared for and supported her children and grandchildren, respecting each for their own uniqueness.

She is survived by her children, Thomas N. Thompson, Jr., Alfred C. Thompson and Deloris “Dee Dee” Sewell; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Friendship Health and Rehab and Baptist Health for their loving care.

Her service will be at noon on Thursday, July 13, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow. Visitation will be from 2-7, Wednesday at the funeral home.
