Sims Sr., Thomas,
age 79, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 6th. He was born June 26th, 1938 to the late Evan and Lillian Sims. He was a graduate of Flaget High School and retired from Louisville Gas and Electric.
Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Jimmy, Donnie, and Norman “Eddie” Sims; and one sister, Betty Sims.
He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Bowling Sims; one son, Thomas Sims Jr. (Suzanne); three daughters, Michelle Klein (John), Allison Harden (Christopher), Erin Smead (Michael); two sisters, Martha and Carolyn Sims; six grandchildren, Sydney, Madison, Payton, Drew, Alex, and Emma.
His funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 11th at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 P.M. on Monday, July 10th at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
