Dorothy “Dot” Glanz Hussung Yokom, age 96, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, June 28th. Dot gwas a graduate of Atherton High School and attended Spencerian Business School. She was a former bookkeeper and member of the Zion Church, AARP Chapter 3863, Women’s Auxillary American Legion Post #201, Girl Scout Leader, a member of Mended Hearts, avid camper, loved to travel, and embroidery work.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred H. Glanz and Irma Kimmel Glanz; husbands, Henry Hussung and Wesley Yokom; companion of 18 years, Hubert “Bud” Timm; one daughter, Barbara Manos; and one brother, Robert Glanz.
She is survived by one daughter, Joy Felts; one step-daughter, Lynda Thompson (Ray); one son-in-law, Chris Manos; seven grandchildren, Anthony and Nicholas Felts, Mark Manos ( Keila), Christi Manos ( companion Pete Chrisano), Chad Manos (Nikki), Lou Black (John), and Mark Thompson (Lisa); four great-grandchildren, Asher, Cate, Lily, and Cason.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 5th from 2 – 8 PM at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 6th at 10 AM at Highlands with burial to follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.
