Paul and his family provided many great and important memories for the Hickman family during our 4 years in Michigan.  I think Paul and I played tennis together twice during those years.  Just before one of those occasions Paul had heard the newly released song “Miss You Like Crazy” by Natalie Cole on the radio, and it stuck in his head.  The whole time we were on the court together he sang the refrain, “Miss you like crazy.” Being a person who has done that sort of thing all my life (just ask my family and friends), I had no trouble understanding how a catchy tune and/or phrase reverberates.  Though our times together after those Michigan days were spread apart by time and space, my memories and those of my family, are indeed precious.  A man and woman who love God whole-heartedly, and were determined to instill that love in their family and to influence others (including me) toward that same spirit = Paul and Sharon Ayres.  Though I rejoice at the hope that Paul’s faith and diligence provides, I also share the sentiment with those who would say to Paul, “Brother, Miss You Like Crazy.”
