MCQUADY,
Ethel S., 87, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
She was the former Ethel Scobee, a former teacher at St. Matthews Elementary and an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Ethel was also the past President of Sigma Kappa Sorority at U of L.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis A. McQuady.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Swinney (Victor), of Ashland, KY; son, Rick L. McQuady (Debbie), of Lexington; and two grandchildren, Harrison Swinney (Lindsay) and Amanda Bajorek (Alex).
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 12 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Ln. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until time of service Monday at Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY or St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
