Patricia Ann Redman Smith, 71, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. Born to Lloyd "Pappy" and Loretta Redman on April 11, 1946. Patty was a retired teacher and loving mother and grandmother. Patricia is survived by her loving family, son Jay (Michelle) Smith and her only grandchild Emma Smith. She is also survived by her brother Bobby (Pam) Redman, niece Natalie (nee Redman) and nephew Chris (Ashley) Redman. She was a world traveler and an avid reader. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you make donations to the National Kidney Fund or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be on June 6, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, Taylorsville Road from 12 to 4 pm, followed immediately by a memorial service.
