Clarence  Wibbels
WIBBELS,
Clarence William, 91, of Mt. Washington, went to meet the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017.
He was born in Louisville, KY to the late Anthony and Nella Johnson Wibbels. He retired from AT&T/ South Central Bell. While in the Army, he served during World War II. He was a resident and ambassador of the Elmcroft Senior Community of Mt. Washington and a member of Lifebridge Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters Norma Moore and Dorothy Woods.
He is survived by his three sons, Anthony Wibbels (Maria), Samuel Wibbels (Susan), and Bruce Wibbels (Dawn); four daughters, Martha Szymansky, Kathryn Pardue, Lauren Gibbs (Harold), and Denise Sammons (Bill); fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 25th, at 10:00 a.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial to follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, KY.
Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Monday, April, 24th, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
