Fentress,
Garrett, 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at University Hospital.

Born in French Lick, IN., he was a navy veteran, retired pipefitter for CSX and member of Southeast Christian Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Anna Neff Fentress; daughters, Susan Katchur (Mike) and Judy Probus (Bill); grandchildren, Jennifer Cotita (Keller) and Julie Smith (Chris); great-grandchildren, Will, Sadie, Audrey, Lacey; and his brother, Max Fentress.

His service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm, Friday, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to American Cancer Society or Kosair Childrens Hospital
