Lillie "Mae" Lucas, 86, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and happily married to Leonard Lucas, Jr. for 53 years. Mae was retired from General Electric after 23 years of service and was a member of Fern Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and brother, Johnny Arney.
She is survived by her children, Donnie Lucas (Regina), Theresa Whitworth (David), Sharon Holbert (Robert), Leonard Lucas, III (Linda), Linda Witzer (Steve), Mary Taylor (Ron), Phyllis Moore (Hank), and Phillip Lucas (Cheryl); 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27th, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
