Condolences

Condolence From: Nancy C Brown
Condolence: I met Stu when I was in high school, but I knew him better during and after I went to UK. My friends and I went to his bar, JAMF, and I collected money at the door. Stu and some of his buddies painted my bedroom for free when my girlfriends and I moved into a house down the street from UK. Over twenty years later, Stu found out that I'd had a stroke, and he called and offered to drive me home from the hospital. When we walked in my house, I cried because the place was a wreck from 12 days of my dogs having the run of the place. The next day, a carpet cleaning company showed up and cleaned the rugs, courtesy of Stu. That's the kind of guy he was. There was nothing he wouldn't do for the people he cared about. I'm sorry to say that I lost touch with him after that, but I have no doubt that he was the same sweet, kind, and generous person until the end. I was so happy when I heard that Stu and Mindy had met and married. My condolences to her and the rest of her and Stu's family.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Stu's recent passing. He was such a great guy. I used to love to hear all the stories he used to tell. Great memories. Prayers to all the Family. He will be missed.

Condolence: My family has many happy memories made with Mindy and Stu, especially from summertime and hanging out at the pool! My daughters considered Stu a cross between Santa and a favorite uncle ( and they were right on target). He even let us bring a canoe to the pool one summer so the girls could practice paddling! He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity in our hearts, a good man indeed.
