Wolke, Margaret Fryxell, 100, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017.
She was born in Louisville on November 3, 1916 to the late Roland A. & Ethel (Shain) Fryxell. She was a divisional secretary of Leggett & Platt, Inc. in Winchester, KY for 45 years, a KY Colonel and a member of St. Andrew United Church of Christ.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William F. Wolke.
Survivors include a son, Franklin W. Wolke; two grandsons, Randall Jones and Jerry William Wolke; great-granddaughter, Krista Jones; cousins, Rebecca and Paul Schrader; godson, Jerry Gliessner; and friend, Barbara Mullaney.
They wish to thank the employees and owners of Twinbrook Assisted Living Apartments for their care and concern while she resided there.
Her visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm, all at St. Andrew UCC, 2608 Browns Ln. Private burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
