MCQUADY,
Louis A., 93, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017.
He was a retired sales manager for Fisher Packing and an Army WWII Veteran. He was a member of the Delta Society at U of L where he was an outstanding graduate in 1948, lettered in tennis and remained an avid fan. He was the editor of the Thoroughbred in 1948 and was an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ethel Scobee McQuady; son, Rick McQuady (Debbie); daughter, Susan M. Swinney (Victor); and grandchildren, Harrison Swinney (Lindsay) and Amanda Bajorek (Alex).
His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Ln. with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
