Morris, Carolyn (Gasser) “Aunt Black”, 89, passed away peacefully Sunday, February 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Louisville, she was a bank teller and homemaker, and a member of Lyndon Baptist Church. She was an amazing wife, mother, and doting grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Etta May Gasser; and sister, Dorothy Jane Renfro.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gene Morris; daughter, Brenda Blincoe (Matt); sister, Joan Westerfield (Bill); grandchildren, Madison Easton (Jon), and Graham, Caroline, and Lizzie Blincoe; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 am Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 3-7 pm Wednesday at Highlands.
