Hillerich,
Joyce Lee, 76, of Louisville, passed away peacefully with loved ones surrounding her on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
She was a graduate of Eastern High School, the University of Louisville and a member of Broadway Baptist Church.
Joyce was a proud, loving and devoted mother, friend, sister, grandmother and aunt. She volunteered at the Younger Woman’s Club and became a skilled, caring respiratory therapist later in life. She loved her family, golfing, fishing and tennis. She was accepting, kind and loving toward everyone. Joyce will be remembered for her quick sense of humor, her appreciation for little things, her smile that conveyed I LOVE YOU, her positive attitude, courage and faith in God and Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, David and Ann Nathan and brother, David Nathan, Jr.
Left to carry on her legacy of love and kindness to all, making everyone feel valued and appreciated are her lifelong trusted friend, Shirley Robertson; son, John Hillerich (Lisa); daughter Holly Hillerich- Clark (Bill);the father of her children, Jack Hillerich; sister, Maryann Williams and grandchildren, Quinn and Piper Hillerich, Delanie Kahl, Andrew, Jordan, Austin and Hope Clark.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. with burial in The Temple Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Highlands.
