SMITH,
Julius G., 84, of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017.
Born in Tompkinsville, KY he retired from GE Appliance Park after 26 years of service. He was a member of West Broadway Baptist Church and an Army Korean War Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and three sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Naoma H. Smith; sisters, Matilda Birge and Nelda Smith; brother, Truman Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 24 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Tompkinsville, KY at 2 p.m. CST Friday after the service. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. Thursday at Highlands.
