WRIGHT,
James W., 80, went to join our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 8:20 p.m. He passed away quietly at his home surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jo Ann and his daughter/sidekick, Lisa Carwile (Doug); brother, Edward Shadburn; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He worked at Southern Standard for 38 years before he retired and started his dream job of working at the golf range. He was an avid Louisville and Panama City golfer and was an avid U of L and NASCAR fan. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
His memorial service will be officiated by Dan Johnson at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 26 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until time of service Thursday at Highlands.
